1. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspectors of Police (Communications): 15 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering OR Computer Engineering OR Information Technology OR Special Diploma Course in Electronics with specialization in Computer Engineering OR Special Diploma Course in Electronics with specialization in Communication Engineering OR Three years degree in B.Sc. Electronics OR a qualification approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent to any of the above.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on 01/07/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.28940/- Rs.78910/-
2. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Assistant Sub Inspector of Police in Finger Print Bureau: 13 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree with Computer Science OR Computer Application OR Information Technology as one of the subjects awarded.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on 01/07/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.23100/- Rs.67990/-
Physical Standard for above posts:
(i) Male: Height — 162cms (160cms for ST & Aboriginal Tribes); Chest — 84cms unexpanded/ 88cms expanded (80cms/83cms for ST & Aboriginal Tribes)
(ii) Female: Height — 152.5cms (150cms for ST & Aboriginal Tribes); Chest — Not applicable.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Selection Test, Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Written Examination.
Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test will be held in the last week of September/ first week of October, 2016 and Written Examination is will be held in the first week of November, 2016.
