Educational Qualification:
A. For Ex-ITI:-
i) For Fitter, Electrician & Machinist:- Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) with Science and Maths under 10+2 system or its equivalent and also possess National Trade Certificate in the respective trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
ii) For Carpenter, Painter and Welder trade:- Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) under 10+2 system or its equivalent and also possess National Trade Certificate in the respective trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
iii) For Programming and System Administration Assistant (PASAA) trade:- Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) and also possess National Trade certificate in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Asst. issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
B. For Freshers:-
i) For Fitter, Electrician and Machinist trade:- Should have passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Maths under 10+2 system or its equivalent.
ii) For Carpenter and Painter trade:- Should have passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under 10+2 system or its equivalent.
iii) For Welder trade:- Should have passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under 10+2 system or its equivalent.
iv) For MLT (Radiology and Pathology):- Should have passed Std XII examination under 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years as on 01/10/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6000 per month for Freshers- X Std. and Rs.7000 per month for Freshers- XII Std. and Ex-ITI.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 01 year/ 02 years/ 01 year 03 months as applicable under the Apprentices Act 1961 under Skill India Mission at Integral Coach Factory.
Note:- The candidates should be residents of Tamil Nadu.
Candidates with higher qualifications like Engineering/ Degree/ Diploma are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: The candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in Educational Qualification i.e., Std X/ Std.XII.
