CSIR- National Metallurgical Laboratory is recruiting 21 Graduate Apprentice and Technician Apprentice. The selected candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for One year under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 at CSIR- National Metallurgical Laboratory, Burmamines, Jamshedpur. CSIR- NATIONAL METALLURGICAL LABORATORY IS CONDUCTING WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 21 GRADUATE APPRENTICE AND TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE. WALK-IN DATE — 16/10/2019

 

1. GRADUATE APPRENTICE

No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos.

Discipline wise vacancies:

i) Mechanical: 02 posts
ii) Electrical: 01 post
iii) Civil: 01 post
iv) Electronics: 03 posts
v) Metallurgical: 01 post
vi) Chemical: 01 post
vii) Computer/ IT: 03 posts

Educational Qualification: Four years regular Engineering degree in respective discipline with 60% or more marks (50% or more marks for reserved category candidates).

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 26 years as on 16/10/2019.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.12000 per month.

 

2. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE

No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos.

Discipline wise vacancies:

i) Mechanical: 04 posts
ii) Electrical: 01 post
iii) Civil: 02 posts
iv) Electronics: 02 posts

Educational Qualification: Three years full time Diploma in respective discipline with 60% or more marks (50% or more marks for reserved category candidates).

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 16/10/2019.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.8000 per month.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.

 

The selected candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for One year under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 at CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Burmamines, Jamshedpur.


Note:-

i) Candidates who have obtained their degree/ diploma in 2017/ 2018/ 2019 (pass outs) are only eligible to apply.
ii) The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/ 1973 as amended from time to time.
iii) Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications are not eligible.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test followed by Interview.
