State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 700 posts of Apprentices. The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961 in the States of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year. STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 700 POSTS OF APPRENTICES. LAST DATE — 06.10.2019

 

APPRENTICES

No. of Vacancies: 700 Nos. (UR-289, SC-181, ST-06, OBC-154, EWS-70. Out of which, 28 posts are reserved for PWD)

 

State wise vacancies:

i) Haryana: 150 posts (Hisar-31, Karnal-36, Kurukshetra-23, Rohtak-22 and Sirsa-38).

ii) Punjab: 400 posts (Amritsar-31, Barnala-40, Bhatinda-45, Gurdaspur-40, Jalandhar-28, Ludhiana-32, Moga-40, Mohali-30, Muktsar-31, Patiala-37 and Sangrur-46).

iii) Himachal Pradesh: 150 posts (Bilaspur-27, Kangra-29, Kullu-21, Nahan-36, Rampur-37).

 

Educational Qualification: i) Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute.

ii) The candidates applying for a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the specified local language of that State. For details please see the Official Advt.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 31.08.2019.

 

Consolidated Pay: 70% of semi-skilled labour wages as applicable in the respective states as per Apprentices Act or Rs.8000/- per month.

 

The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961 in the States of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year.

Note:-

i) The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship either in SBI or in any other organization earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act 1961 as amended.

ii) Candidates who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the educational qualifications, will not be eligible for being engaged as Apprentices.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category as per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Written Test and Test of Local Language. The Online Written Test will be held on 23.10.2019 (Tentatively). The test will be held at various centres in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. For details please see the Official Advt.
