Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) is inviting application for 192 posts of Apprentices. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) for the year 2019-20 in the trades mentioned below. APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 192 Nos. (UR-98, SC-29, ST-14, OBC-51. Out of which 08 posts are reserved for PWD and 06 posts are reserved for ESM)
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Fitter- 85 posts
ii) Machinist- 31 posts
iii) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)- 08 posts
iv) Turner- 05 posts
v) CNC Programming-cum-Operator (COE Group)- 23 posts
vi) Electrician- 18 posts
vii) Electronic Mechanic- 22 posts
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th Class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks from recognized Board and should also possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the designated trade issued by NCVT.
Age Limit: Should have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years as on 15/11/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10899 per month (for Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician & Electronic Mechanic) and Rs.12261 per month (for CNC Programming-cum-Operator).
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) for the year 2019-20 in the trades. The training will be for a period of Six (06) months/ One (01) year as applicable.
Note:- The candidates who have registered their names with the Employment Exchanges falling within the State of Karnataka are only eligible to apply (not required in case of wards of Serving Railway Employees). For more details please see the Official Advt.
Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for apprenticeship training. Candidates who are undergoing/ completed Apprenticeship Training in other organization and candidates awaiting result of final examination (ITI) are also not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on Merit Basis based on the percentage of marks obtained in Academic Qualification.
