Name of the Trades: Fitter, Welder (G&E), Turner, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter (General), Mechanic (DSL), Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Programming & System Administration Assistant, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Wireman, Mechanic Refridgeration & AC, Mechanic LT & Cable, Pipe Fitter, Plumber and Draftsman (Civil).
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board.
ii) ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/ SCVT in relevant trade.
Age Limit: Should have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years as on 06/02/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of One year in the designated Trades under Apprentice Act 1961 at various Divisions and Workshops within the jurisdiction of Western Railways for the year 2019-20.

Note:-
i) The candidates whose SSC/ ITI results are awaited are not eligible to apply.
ii) The candidates failed in ITI should not apply.
iii) Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Merit basis based on the percentage of marks
obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation and ITI Examination, Document Verification and Medical Examination. The Merit List will be declared on 13/02/2020 and Document/ Certificate Verification of shortlisted candidates will be conducted on 28/02/2020 onwards.
