APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 16 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Library and Information Science- 09 posts
ii) Computer Science- 06 posts
iii) Photography- 01 post
Educational Qualification:
i) For Library and Information Science:- Diploma in Library Science (02 years) from recognized University/ Institute.
OR
Degree in Library & Information Science from recognized University/ Institute.
ii) For Computer Science:- Degree in Computer Science (B.E/ B.Tech only) from recognized University/ Institute.
iii) For Photography:- Diploma in Photography from recognized Institute.
Stipend: Rs.8000 — Rs.9000 per month.
The vacancies are for One (01) year apprenticeship training under the Apprentice Act 1961 in Defence Scientific Information and Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) for the financial year 2020-21.
Note:- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any institute/ organization are not eligible and only those who have passed out in 2018 or later can only apply.
Candidates’ Selection: The candidates will be selected on Merit basis based on percentage/ marks of essential qualification.
