APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos.
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Electrician: 10 posts
ii) Mechanic (MV): 03 posts
iii) Fitter: 05 posts
iv) Welder: 02 posts
v) Plumber: 02 posts
vi) Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): 08 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): 12th standard pass and ITI.
ii) For rest of the trades: 10th standard pass and ITI.
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years (Minimum 18 years for COPA) as on 10/09/2018
Preference will be given to:-
i) Project Affected families of Parbati-II HE Project.
ii) People of Project Affected areas of Parbati-II HE Project & Kullu District.
iii) People of Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh.
Only candidates who are domicile of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply for Apprenticeship Training. The candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training for the Session 2018-19 under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Academic Qualification and Interview.
