APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 63 Nos. (UR-35, SC-09, ST-19)
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Secretarial Assistant: 06 posts
ii) Computer Operator and Programming: 02 posts
iii) Electrician: 06 posts
iv) Fitter: 19 posts
v) Machinist: 02 posts
vi) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 21 posts
vii) Welder: 07 posts
Educational Qualification: ITI in respective trade from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 22.08.2019.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Agartala.
Note:
i) The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training, in any organisation as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 as amended from time to time.
ii) Candidates, who have undergone training or job experience for a period of one year or more after acquiring the prescribed qualifications, will not be eligible for being engaged as Trade Apprentice.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
