Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Pipelines Division invites online application for 380 posts of Apprentices. The vacancies are for various Pipeline Divisions namely- Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL) and South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL). The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year/ Fifteen (15) months under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) in various Technical and Non-Technical trades mentioned below. Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication & Instrumentation, Human Resource, Accounts/ Finance, Data Entry Operator and Domestic Data Entry Operator.

Educational Qualification:

i) For Technician Apprentice- Mechanical:- Full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering.

ii) For Technician Apprentice- Electrical:- Full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

iii) For Technician Apprentice- Telecommunication & Instrumentation:- Full time Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering/ Electronics Engineering.

iv) For Trade Apprentice (Assistant- Human Resource):- Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) from a recognized Institute/ University.

v) For Trade Apprentice (Accountant):- Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a recognized Institute/ University.

vi) For Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices):- Minimum 12 th pass (but below graduate).

vii) For Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders):- Minimum 12th pass (but below Graduate). Additionally, candidates should possess Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognised under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognised by the Central Govt.

Note:
The candidates should have minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ ST and PwBD category candidates) in relevant disciplines in the above qualifications.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/10/2019.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.

 

The vacancies are for various Pipeline Divisions namely- Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL) and South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL). Note:-

i) Candidates having professional/ higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
ii) The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961, as amended from time to time.
iii) Candidates, who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the above qualifications, will not be eligible for being engaged as Technician Apprentice.
iii) The candidates should not have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination as on 31/10/2019.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test. The Written Test will be held tentatively on 08/12/2019.
