Educational Qualification:
i) For Apprentice Food and Beverage Service (Stewardship) trade:- Passed 10th class exam under 10+2 system or its equivalent and broad based basic training in Hospitality sector under centre of Excellency scheme in food and beverage service (stewardship).
ii) For Apprentice Food Production (Cookery) trade:- Passed 10th class exam under 10+2 system and broad based basic training in Hospitality Sector under Centre of Excellency scheme and advanced module of Centre of Excellence scheme in Food Production (cookery).
iii) For Carpenter trade:- Passed 8th class or its equivalent and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
iv) For Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade:- Passed 10th class examination and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
v) For Electrician trade:- Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system with science as one of subject and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
vi) For Electronics Mechanic trade:- Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system in mathematics and physics, chemistry or its equivalent and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
vii) For Fitter trade:- Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system or its equivalent and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
viii) For Mechanic (Motor Vehicles) trade:- Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent and ITI examination (Regular) in respective trade.
ix) For Mechanic (Domestic, Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Machines) trade:- Passed 10th class examination and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
x) For Stenographer (Hindi) trade:- Passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system and ITI examination (Regular) in respective trade.
xi) For Wireman trade:- Passed 8th class or its equivalent and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
Note:- Only ITI passed (regular candidate) in the years 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 from NCVT/ SCVT recognized Institutes in the respective trades can apply in the designated trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/03/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Only candidates who are domicile of Uttarakhand are eligible to apply.
The candidates will undergo One year apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) in the trades mentioned below at Koteshwar Hydro Electric Project, THDC India Limited, Koteshwar (Uttarakhand) for the year 2020-21.
The candidates who after the completion of their education have undergone apprenticeship Training in any organization, training or job experience of one year or more will not be considered eligible for apprenticeship training in THDCIL, Koteshwar.
Candidates whose results are awaited will not be eligible for applying for apprentice Training.
Candidates’ Selection: The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list-cum-counseling formed on the basis of marks secured in Matriculation examination (10th) and ITI Examination.
