The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year under Apprentices Act, 1961 at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Mumbai. APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 214 Nos.
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Accountant: 05 posts
ii) Assistant HR: 125 posts
iii) Secretarial Assistant: 46 posts
iv) Electrician: 05 posts
v) Electronics Mechanic: 03 posts
vi) Instrument Mechanic: 08 posts
vii) Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant): 12 posts
viii) Computer Operator & Programming Assistant: 10 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For Accountant: Bachelors degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a recognized Institute/ University.
ii) For Assistant HR: Bachelors degree (Graduation) in B.A. or B.B.A from a recognized Institute/ University.
iii) For Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant): B.Sc. with PCM or PCB OR ITI in Lab. Asst (Chemical Plant) trade.
iv) For rest of the trades: ITI in respective trade.
Note: The candidate must have obtained minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 05.08.2019.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year under Apprentices Act, 1961 at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Mumbai.
Only residents of all districts of Maharashtra are eligible to apply.
Note:-
i) The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship either in ONGC or in any other organization, earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
ii) Candidates, who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the qualifications, will not be eligible for being engaged as Apprentices.
iii) Candidates having higher/ professional qualification are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 137 cm; (ii) Chest — Chest expansion should not be less than 3.8 cms irrespective of size of the Chest; Weight — 25.4 kg.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the minimum prescribed qualification.
