APPRENTICES – LINEMAN
No. of Vacancies: 850 Nos. (Gen-510, SC/ST-212, BC-102, PWD-26)
Educational Qualification: ITI in Wireman OR Electrician trade from NCVT or SCVT.
Age limit – As per Apprenticeship Act (See pdf file link given below)
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training in the trade of Lineman for a period of One year as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961.
Preference will be given to Punjab resident/ domicile candidates.
Candidate who has already done ITI apprenticeship earlier in any department or in PSPCL are not eligible to apply.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Punjab shall be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Academic Qualification.
