Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Southern Region is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 413 posts of Technical and Non-Technical Trade and Technician Apprentices. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)- Southern Region, Marketing Division. INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED (IOCL), SOUTHERN REGION INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 413 POSTS OF TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL TRADE AND TECHNICIAN APPRENTICES. LAST DATE — 07/08/2019

 

1. TRADE APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 70 Nos.
Name of the Trades: Fitter, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Machinist.
State wise vacancies:

i) Tamil Nadu & Puducherry: 30 posts
ii) Karnataka: 10 posts
iii) Kerala: 10 posts
iv) Telangana: 10 posts
v) Andhra Pradesh: 10 posts

Educational Qualification: Matric with two years ITI course in respective trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/07/2019.

 

2. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 60 Nos.
Name of the Disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics.
State wise vacancies:

i) Tamil Nadu & Puducherry: 20 posts
ii) Karnataka: 10 posts
iii) Kerala: 10 posts
iv) Telangana: 10 posts
v) Andhra Pradesh: 10 posts

Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline from a recognized Institute/ University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/07/2019.

 

3. TRADE APPRENTICES- ACCOUNTANT
No. of Vacancies: 283 Nos.
State wise vacancies:

i) Tamil Nadu & Puducherry: 124 posts
ii) Karnataka: 61 posts
iii) Kerala: 35 posts
iv) Telangana: 31 posts
v) Andhra Pradesh: 32 posts

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) from recognized Institute/ University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/07/2019.

 

The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)- Southern Region, Marketing Division.

Note:-

i) The candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training in an Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/ 1973 as amended from time to time or job experience for a period of one year or more are not eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates who have acquired Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline on or after 01/01/2017 only are eligible to apply for Technician Apprentice.
iii) Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications are not eligible.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Document Verification. The Written Test will be conducted at Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Cochin and Bangalore on 18th August, 2019.
