1. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 50 Nos.
Name of the disciplines:- Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics.
State wise vacancies:
i) Gujarat- 06 posts
ii) Madhya Pradesh– 35 posts
iii) Chhattisgarh- 05 posts
iv) Goa- 01 post
v) Dadra & Nagar Haveli– 03 posts
Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline from recognized Institute/ University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/10/2019.
2. TRADE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos.
Name of the trades:- Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Machinist.
State wise vacancies:
i) Gujarat- 09 posts
ii) Goa- 01 post
Educational Qualification: Regular full time ITI in respective trade recognized by NCVT/ SCVT.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/10/2019.
3. TRADE APPRENTICE- ACCOUNTANT
No. of Vacancies: 71 Nos.
State wise vacancies:
i) Gujarat- 66 posts
ii) Goa- 05 posts
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/10/2019.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)- Western Region (Marketing Division) at different locations in States and Union Territory of Western India (Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Dadra and Nagar Haveli). The training will be for a period of 12 Months under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the respective Trade/ Disciplines.
Note:-
i) The candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training in an Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/ 1973 as amended from time to time or job experience for a period of 01 year or more are not eligible.
ii) Candidates who have completed 03 years after acquiring the prescribed qualification are not eligible to apply.
iii) Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications or pursuing higher qualification will not be considered.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test. The tentative date of Written Test is 15/12/2019. Written Test will be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Raipur, Panjim and Silvassa.
