1. Apprenticeship Training: 335 Nos.
Name of the Trades and number of vacancies are as follows: –
One Year Training:
1. Machinist: 10 Nos.
2. Instrument Mechanic: 10 Nos.
3. Fitter: 40 Nos.
4. Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance: 15 Nos.
5. Ref & Air Conditioning Mechanic: 10 Nos.
6. Electroplater: 05 Nos.
7. Welder (Gas & Elect): 20 Nos.
8. Painter (General): 25 Nos.
9. Mason (BC): 10 Nos.
10. IT & ESM: 10 Nos.
11. Turner: 15 Nos.
12. Electronic Mechanic: 10 Nos.
13. Electrician: 20 Nos.
Two Year Training:
1. Mechanic (Diesel): 25 Nos.
2. Foundry Man: 05 Nos.
3. Mechanic Radio & Radar (Aircraft): 10 Nos.
4. Power Electrician: 10 Nos.
5. Shipwright Steel: 20 Nos.
6. Plumber: 10 Nos.
7. Pipe Fitter: 10 Nos.
8. Rigger (Heavy Industries): 15 Nos.
9. Sheet Metal Worker: 15 Nos.
10. Carpenter: 15 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation/Class 10 with a minimum of 50% marks and ITI Examination (provisional Nation Trade Certificate acceptable) in relevant Trade with aggregate of 65% marks.
Minimum Physical Standards: Height – 150 cms; Weight – 45 Kg, Chest – expansion by 5 cms; Eye Sight – 6/6 to 6/9.
Age Limit: Born between 31 March 1995 to 31 March 2002. Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/St candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs.6126/-, Rs.7002/-, Rs.7877/- per month depending upon period of Apprenticeship training.
Candidates’ Selection: Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Matric & ITI Examination. Candidates in Merit list will be called for Written Test.
Written Test will be held in the last week of December, 2015. After written test, there will be Interview/ Medical Test in Feb, 2016.
Training of selected candidates will commence on 01 April 2016.
