Andhra Pradesh School Education Department is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-2024). Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online only through the official website of the Andhra Pradesh School Education Department (See URL below). APTET 2024 Eligibility

Eligibility criteria for the different papers of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET):

Paper-I A (Classes I to V): Candidates aspiring to teach classes from I to V should possess a 12th-grade qualification. Additionally, they should have completed a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), Diploma in Education (D.Ed), Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), or Master of Education (M.Ed) program.
Paper-I B (Classes I to V) (Special Schools): For teaching in special schools catering to classes I to V, candidates should have completed their 12th-grade education. They should also hold a diploma or postgraduate diploma relevant to special education.
TET Paper II-A (Classes VI-VIII): Candidates aiming to teach classes from VI to VIII must have completed their 12th-grade education. Additionally, they should possess a Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (B.A)/Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), or Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A.Ed)/Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc.Ed) degree. Alternatively, they should hold a degree or postgraduate degree along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) qualification or a combined B.Ed-M.Ed degree.
Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII): Individuals aspiring to teach languages to classes VI to VIII should hold a degree or postgraduate degree in the respective language they intend to teach.
TET Paper II-B (Classes VI-VIII) (Special Schools): For teaching in special schools for classes VI to VIII, candidates should possess qualifications such as a Diploma in Special Education (DSC), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with specialization in General or Special Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDC), or Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education (PGDSC).

APTET 2024 Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination.

APTET 2024 Examination Fee:

Candidates must pay Rs.750/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid Online mode during the submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card Net banking or any other option available. See the officially released advertisement for more details.

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Andhra Pradesh School Education Department — http://cse.ap.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below)

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/acknowledgment slip with a unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
