Army Medical Corps is recruiting 120 persons as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer. MBBS candidates may apply for the post. Application can be made on prescribed format and should reach within 20th April 2012. Details below—

Short Service Commissioned Officer (Medical Officer/ Doctor)
Vacancies: 120 Nos.
Qualification: Candidates who have passed MBBS examination in first or second attempt and have completed internship may apply. Candidates must have registration from any State Medical Council/MCI. Post graduate degree holders i.e. MD/MS/MCh/DM may also apply.
Candidates who have taken more than 2 attempts to pass MBBS examination were not eligible to apply.

Age limit: within 45yrs as on 31st Dec 2012.
Pay scale: Rs.15600—Rs.39100 and grade pay of Rs.6100 and other allowances.

Candidates should be physically fit. Before appearing for Interview, candidates will have to go through medical examination.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview which may hold on month of July at Army Hospital, New Delhi.

Application Processing Fee: Application fee of Rs.200 is required to pay in form of Demand Draft. The DD should be in favour of – “The Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (APF Fund)” and payable at—“New Delhi”.
Candidates should write name and address on the back side of the Demand Draft. Candidates should ensure that the demand draft bears the code number of the bank from where it has been prepared.

How to apply: Application can be prepared on good quality A4 size paper as per prescribed format by neatly typing and then filling it in own handwriting. Duly filled application form along with all necessary documents should be sent to the office address by post.
Enclosed the following documents in attested copies only—
Matriculation Certificate and age proof certificate.
Permanent Medical Registration Certificate & Internship Completion Certificate.
MBBS / PG Examination Degree / Certificate.
Final MBBS attempt certificate.
No Objection Certificate from present employer, if any.
One self addressed envelope without postal stamp (Name and address should be written in bold letters)
D.D. of Rs. 200
Do not send more than one applications, it will lead to cancellation of both application.
