Indian Army Recruitment Rally at Barrackpore for Soldiers (Tradesmen/ Tech./GD/Clerk) from 16th to 23rd June,2014.

Indian Army Recruitment Rally at RCTC Ground Barrackpore (West Bengal) from 16th to 23rd June,2014, for the posts of – Soldier Tradesman, Soldier Technical, Soldier General Duty and Soldier General Duty (ST). Interested and eligible candidates may appear for the Rally for Registration, Physical Fitness test and document verification. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

Name of the Trades and Educational Qualification —
1. Soldier (Tradesmen)
Qualification: Class 10 pass and above. Minimum Class-VIII pass for House Keeper & Mess Keeper only.

2. Soldier (Technical)
Qualification: 10+2 pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English and shall have obtained 45% marks in aggregate
OR
Class 10 pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with 03 years Diploma in Engineering.

3. Soldier (General Duty)
Qualification: Class 10 pass and shall have secured 33% of marks in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate. If candidates have higher qualification, then said percentage of marks in Class 10 is not required.

4. Soldier (General Duty) (ST)
Qualification: Minimum Class VIII pass.

5. Soldier (Clerk/ Storekeeper Technical):
Qualification: Class 12 pass and shall have secured 40% of marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate.
And Candidates shall have studied English and Maths/ Accts/ Book Keeping in Class 10 or Class 12 and shall have secured minimum 40% in each of these subjects, whether it was studied in Class 10 or Class 12.
If a candidate is graduate with Maths and English as his subject in B.Sc, the stipulation of scoring 40% in Class 10/ 12 is waifed off. In case if candidate is graduate but not having English and Maths/ Accts/ Book Keeping, he should have scored more than 40% in English and Maths/ Accts/ Book Keeping atleast one in Class X or Class 12.
N.B: Degree Certificate and/or Provisional Certificate is mandatory.

Age Limits—
For Soldier (Clerk/SKT), Soldier (Technical): Born not before 16 June,1991 and not after 16 Dec,1996
For Soldier (General Duty): Born not before 16 June, 1993 and not after 16 Dec,1996.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Initial selection of the candidates will be done through Open Recruitment Rally which will be held at RCTC Ground of Barrackpore from 16/06/2014 to 23/06/2014. The Registration, Physical Fitness Test and Document verification for all categories will be carried out from the said dates.

ONLY MALE CANDIDATES ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. 
ELIGIBLE DISTRICTS OF WEST BENGAL FOR THIS RECRUITMENT RALLY ARE – (I) NORTH 24 PARGANAS, (II) HOOGLY, (III) BANKURA AND (IV) PURULIA. 

At the Recruitment Rally, candidates shall brings all the Originals of testimonials along with Xerox copies (Attested form), such as – Caste Certificate, Qualification Certificate & Mark sheet, Domicle proof/certificate, Age proof certificate and Etc. (See the below given PDF file for details).
