475 I.T.I. boys for the post of Artisan (Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Plumber, Crane Operator cum Rigor and Furnace Operator) in BHEL – Tiruchirappalli.

Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) is recruiting 475 boys/girls for the post of “Artisan” for Tiruchirappalli branch.  I.T.I. pass candidates may apply. Recruitment will be on following trades—Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Plumber, Crane operator cum rigor, Furnace Operator.

1. Fitter: 200 posts.

Who can apply: Madhyamik Pass boys with trade certificate from I.T.I. on Fitter or Sheet Metal Worker  and have acquired minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) may apply for the post.

2. Welder (130 posts); Electrician (20 Posts); Plumber (5 Posts)
Who can apply: Madhyamik Pass boys with Trade Certificate on Welder/ Electrician/ Plumber and have acquired minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) marks may apply for the posts.

3. Mechanic/ Crane Operator cum Rigor
Who can apply: Madhyamik pass boys with Trade certificate on Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) and may have acquired 60% (55% for SC/ST).

4. Furnace Operator: 10 posts
Who can apply: M.P pass boys with Trade certificate on Forger and Heat Treatar and may have acquired 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) may apply

Total vacancies including all trades: 475 Posts (Gen-250; SC-91, ST-5, OBC-129)

Age should be between 18 to 27 as on 1-5-2011. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs, PH-10yrs and Ex-Serviceman- as per norms.

Mode of Job: The beginning first year of the job will be on temporary basis and pay scale will be Rs.1100 per month. Later if selected, job will be given on – Artisan Grade-IV and pay scale will be Rs.11700 to 23000.

Candidates should be in good health. On basis of marks obtained in I.T.I./ National Trade and Apprenticship Certificate candidates will be called for Written Test. Written Test will be of Objective Types Questions on respective trades. Exam will be held on Tiruchirapalli. Later selected candidates from written test will be called for Interview. Candidates may download their Admit card from website.

How to Apply: Candidates may apply through Online by visiting the official website of BHEL: http://careers.bhel.in . Before apply online, candidates should deposit the processing fee of Rs.125 through any branch of State Bank of India on the following account—Power Jyoti A/C No.30796267034 @ HE, Kailasapuram, Trichy-14 (Code No. 01363). Fee should be deposited through Challan (3 copies to be fill up) in favour of “Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchirappalli”. After depositing the amount, take Journal No. (Host Trace No.) from the bank and then visit the website of BHEL to fill-up the online application form. SC/ST and PH candidates do not need to pay processing fee.

After submitting the online application form, an acknowledgement slip may appear on computer screen, candidates should make print out of this slip on a plain paper and then should send this Acknowledgement Slip through Ordinary Post. Along with Acknowledgement slip, candidates should enclosed all the attested copies of Birth Certificate, Qualification Certificate, Trade Certificate, Caste Certificate, PH certificate and Original Copy of Fee Challan.
