Recruitment of 180 Artisans in Bharat Heavy Elecricals Limited (BHEL) of Ranipet.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited is recruiting 180 Nos. Artisans for the posts of “Fitter”, “Welder”, “Electrician”, “Material Handling Operator”, “Instrument Mechanic”, “Mill Wright Mechanic” and “Electronics Mechanic”. Madhyamik pass candidates meeting the below given requirements may apply for the posts—

1. Artisans: 180 Nos. (Gen-92; OBC-51; SC-35; ST-2).
Trade wise vacant posts—
(I). Fitter: 98 Nos.
(II). Welder: 56 Nos.
(III). Electrician: 06 Nos.
(IV). Material Handling Operator: 11 Nos.
(V). Instrument Mechanic: 03 Nos.
(VI). Mill Wright Mechanic: 03 Nos.
(VII). Electronics Mechanic: 03 Nos.

Qualification: Madhyamik pass candidates with ITI or National Trade Certificate (NTC) along with National Apprenticeship Certificate in any above given trade. Candidates should poses minimum 60% marks in each Trade Certificate and Apprenticeship certificate (55% for SC/ST candidates). Ex-serviceman may also apply; in their case required percentage is not necessary.
Candidates with ability to speak read and write in Tamil Language is desirable.

Age Limit: 18yrs to 27yrs as on 1-09-2011. Age relaxation for SC/ST: 5yrs; OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman & PH- as per norms.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected through Written Test, Interview and then Medical Examination. Written Test will be of Objective Type and will be set in Hindi, English and Tamil Language. Date of Written Test is 06-11-2011 and will hold at Chennai.
Call letters for Written Test will be available on official website of BHEL from dated 24-10-2011. No call letters will be sending through by post.

Before applying online candidates should deposit the application fee of Rs.125 from any branch of State Bank of India. No fee required for SC/ST and PH Candidates. Fee deposition should be made through fee challan only which can be downloaded from the above mentioned site. After submitting the online form, candidates should make printout of the acknowledge slip appeared on computer screen. This application slip with pasted recent passport size photo and duly signed on it along with other documents—Challan receipt, Educational certificates, Age certificates, Domicile certificates, caste certificates and etc, should be enclosed and send to the following address—“DGM /HR, BHEL, Ranipet- 632406, Vellore District, Tamilnadu”.

Last Date for Online Application: Online application will start from dated- 03/09/2011 and closed on dated-24-09-2011.
Last date to send the enclosures: The printed application along with other documents/enclosures should reach within dated- 01-10-2011.
