The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB)is recruiting 28 “Administrative Officer” and “Finance & Accounts Officer”. The selection of the candidates will be through a Competitive Examination which will hold on 23.11.2014 (Sunday) at ICAR Research Institutes. AGRICULTURAL SCIENTISTS RECRUITMENT BOARD (ASRB) INVITES APPLICATION FOR 28 ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER AND FINANCE & ACCOUNTS OFFICER. LAST DT. 01/09/2014

1. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Number of Vacancies: 18 Nos. (Gen—13; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—3)
Qualification: Graduate with minimum 55% marks and should have working knowledge of computer.

2. FINANCE & ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Number of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—3)
Qualification: Graduate with minimum 55% marks and should have working knowledge of computer.
Desirable – Specialization in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce at the Post Graduation level or professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and below 30 years as on 01/09/2014,i.e. candidates must have born not later than 1st September, 1993 and not earlier to 2nd September, 1984.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.15600—39100 and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold a Competitive Examination for the recruitment to the above said posts. The examination will hold on 23.11.2014 (Sunday) at ICAR Research Institutes.
The Examination will hold at various centres, viz. (Code No. given in bracket) — Bengaluru (01), Bhubaneswar (02), Coimbatore (03), Delhi (04), Guwahati (05), Hyderabad (06), Jammu (07), Kolkata (08), Lucknow (09), Mumbai (10), Nagpur (11) and Patna (12).
Candidates may choose their examination centre during filling of online Application form.

Examination/ Registration Fee: General and OBC candidates shall pay Examination fee of Rs.480 and Registration Fee of Rs.20/-, i.e. Rs.500/- in total.
SC/ST, All Women candidates and PWD candidates shall pay only Registration Fee of Rs.20/-. No Examination fee for such candidates.
The fee can be paid through Debit/Credit Card or NEFT during submission of Online Application form or Fee can be paid by means of fee payment Challan through Syndicate Bank. The fee challan will be generated automatically during online Application form. Candidates must print-out it to pay the prescribed fee through Syndicate Bank. See PDF below for details.

Candidates shall enter their valid and active e-mail addressonly in the Application Form since all the communication/ information/ update(s) for this Examination would be sent to this e-mail address only.

After final successful step of Online Application form, a system generated Acknowledgement/ Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out this and shall retain the same safely for future correspondence.

The candidates are not required to submit any printed/hard copy of their online application or copies of any certificates at this stage.
