How to Complete Assam ASSEB Class 9 Registration 2026?
The registration process is conducted by schools on behalf of their students. Schools must follow the step-by-step process outlined below:
Step 1: Collect Student Details
Prior to starting the online registration process, schools must collect the following from each student:
- Details in the Data Capture Sheet (Annexure 1)
- Passport size photo in white background
- Full signature of the student
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- Student’s Aadhaar number
- Student’s APAAR ID (12-digit unique number)
Step 2: Login to Registration Portal
- Visit the official ASSEB, Div-I website at sebaonline.org
- Click on the link “Class IX Registration, 2026”
- Click on “School Login”
- Login using the School Code as User ID and the password provided during the previous year’s Class IX registration
- If the password is lost, collect it from the respective Member Secretary of the Regional Office of ASSEB, Div-I of the concerned district
Step 3: Update School Details
- After login, update the School details in the “My School” page before proceeding
- Ensure the 11-digit UDISE Code is correctly updated (mandatory)
- Centre Schools must check their Centre Bank account details carefully; if any discrepancy is found, email to deputysecretary.seba@gmail.com
Step 4: Add Students
- Go to Registration → Received Applications
- Click on “New Application” to add students one by one
- A “Verify APAAR” popup will appear
- Enter the APAAR ID and other required details exactly as per APAAR records
- If APAAR ID is not available or cannot be verified, select “Continue without APAAR verification”
- After APAAR verification, the Student Details page will open
- Fill in all required student information carefully and upload the necessary documents
Step 5: Make Payment
- After adding all students, make the necessary payment
- Payment can be made through SBI online mode or SBI Challan
- For SBI Challan, deposit the Challan with the required amount in the nearest SBI bank branch
Step 6: Generate Form 50
- Form 50 will be generated after successful payment in the Registration Payments section
- The Head of the Institution must check Form 50 thoroughly and verify the information furnished by each student by comparing with the School Admission Register and other related documents
Step 7: Checklist Correction
- Checklist correction option will be available after successful payment
- Schools must verify details of each student by clicking on the School Checklist option
- Edit details if required
Step 8: Submit Form 50
- After checklist correction, re-download the corrected Form 50
- Submit the Form 50 in the Centre School with all necessary signatures of the students, parents, and Head of the Institution
- Centre School will collect all Form 50s from feeder schools and submit them in the Inspector of Schools (IS) Office
