Assam Gramin Vikash Bank requires 267 Officers (MMG-II), Officers (JMG-I), Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Last Dt.14/04/2013

Assam Gramin Vikash Bank is recruiting 267 candidates for the posts of – Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Eligible candidates who have qualified Common Written Examination for RRBs and PSBs, conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and March 2012 may apply for post. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

Name of the posts and Number of vacancies—
1. Officer Scale-II (Information Technology): 2 Nos. (ST—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate And Experience in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB and etc is Desirable.

2. Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant): 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India AND one year experience.

3. Officer Scale-II (Law Officer): 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate AND 2yrs experience as on advocate or as Law Officer in any Financial Institutions.

4. Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Post graduate Degree in Finance AND 1yr experience.

5. Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer): 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Marketing and 1yr experience.

6. Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): 7 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate AND 2yrs experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

7. Officer Scale-I: 116 Nos. Out of total vacancies, 3nos. is reserved for PWD.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and proficiency in local language

8. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 136 Nos. Out of total vacancies, 3nos. reserved for PWD and 14nos. for Ex-serviceman.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and proficiency in local language

Essential Requirement: Apart from above qualification, candidates must have qualified Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and in March 2012 (for Specialist Officers).
Candidates must have obtained Qualifying Standard Score. For TWS and cut-off, please refer the officially released Advertisement (live url given below).

Age Limits (As on 01-06-2012)
1. For Officer Scale- II – Above 21 years – Below 32 years
2. For Officer Scale- I – Above 18 years – Below 28 years
3. For Office Assistant (M) – Between 18 years and 28 years
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST- 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman & any other Categories – As per Govt. norms

Selection of the candidates will be through Personal Interview. Only shortlisted candidates, on basis of performance in IBPS, will be called for Interview.
The Interview will be held at Guwahati and the address of the venue will be advised in the call letters as well as on the official website before one week from the commencement of Interview.
