ASSAM PSC IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 35 POSTS OF ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL), ASSISTANT INSPECTOR AND DIRECTOR OF AGRICULTURE. LAST DATE — 07/07/2016.
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil) under Water Resources Deptt: 25 Nos. (OC-09, OBC/MOBC-13, SC-01, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-43 years as on 03/03/2016
Pay Scale: Rs. 12,000/- Rs. 40,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-
2. Assistant Inspector of Schools under Assam Education Service: 09 Nos. (Ur-06, OBC/MOBC-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: MA, BT or M.Sc. BT with at least 7(seven) years experience as Teacher in Secondary Schools or at least 5(five) years experience as Teacher in Secondary Schools and 2(two) years experience as Sub Inspector of Schools or MA BT or M.Sc. BT and Serving as Deputy Inspector of Schools or Additional Deputy Inspector of Schools.
Age Limit: Maximum-43 years as on 03/03/2016
Pay Scale: Rs. 12,000/- Rs. 40,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5900/-
3. Director of Agriculture under Agriculture Deptt.: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: First Class or High second class degree in Agriculture or first class or high second class honors or master degree in a subject basic to Agriculture Science such as Botany, Chemistry etc.
Candidates must have Experience in research extension work or teaching for 10 years and Experience in Administration of Agriculture in a senior post at least for 8 years (Not below the rank of Deputy Director of Agriculture or equivalent rank).
Desirable Qualification:
1) Post Graduate degree or Ph.D. or B.Sc. in any of the basic Agricultural Sciences like
Agronomy, Agricultural Extension, Horticulture, Botany, Agricultural Botany, Agricultural
Chemistry etc.
2) Outstanding research training or extension as evidenced by published paper.
3) Experience in a top position in the field of Agricultural education or Agricultural extension.
4) Intimate knowledge of problems of Indian Agricultural particularly with reference to any of
the rice growing regions in India.
Age Limit: Maximum-43 years as on 03/03/2016
Pay Scale: Rs. 12,000/- Rs. 40,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview.
