Educational Qualification for Assam Public Service Commission Recruitment

Education Qualifcation:- As per the official notification candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering of an Indian or foreign University recognized by the Government. Or Passed Part A & B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (lndia) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the lnstitution of Engineers (lndia) only. Degrees obtained through Distance mode of education will not be eligible. And Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1(one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Eligibility Criteria for APSC Recruitment 2023-24

Age Limit – The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 38 years of age as on 01-01-2023.

Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category.

Application Fee:- Under the Digital lndia initiative by lvlinistry of Electronics and lnformation Technology (Meity),Government of lndia, APSC has decided to launch its Online Recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40.001 + 18% tax = Rs.47.20/- from each candidate. The Application Fee is as per Govt. Notification No, FEG.32/20’16/8-A dated Dispur the 28th October, 2016 communicated vide letter No.ABP,60/2014/’11 dated 2nd February 2018.
