ASSISTANT CONSERVATOR OF FORESTS (AFS- CLASS-I)
No. of Vacancies: 25 Nos. (Open Category- 17, OBC/MOBC-02, SC-03, STP-03, )
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognized University with at least one of the following subjects – Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications/ Computer Science, Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science and Zoology.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-38 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs 30,000 – Rs.1,10,000/- and Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/-
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 79 cm; Chest (expanded) — 84 cm
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 150; Chest — 74 cm; Chest (expanded) — 79 cm
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through written examination, physical test and interview.
