Under Central government’s—Ministry of Home, Assam Rifle is recruiting 120 Nos. for the post of “Havildar (Clerk)”, “Plumber”, “Electrician”, “Radio line”, “Electrician (M.V.)”, “Radio Mechanic”, “ Electrical Fitter Signal”, “Upholster”, “Lineman Field”, and “Armour”. For Madhyamik pass and I.T.I. Candidates.
1. Havildar (Clerk): West Bengal-7nos; Jharkhand-2nos; Tripura-3nos.; Bihar-4nos.
Madhyamik pass with subjects—English and Mathematics and then done Higher Secondary may apply.
2. Electrician: West Bengal-4nos, Jharkhand-1, Tripura-2nos, Bihar-3nos.
Madhyamik pass candidates with I.T.I. on Electrical Trade may apply.
3. Operator Radio Line: West Bengal-12nos, Jharkhand-5nos, Tripura-8nos, Bihar-6nos, Assam-5nos.
Madhyamik pass candidates with subjects—English, Mathematics, Science and Physics may apply for the post.
4. Electrician (Mechanical Vehicle): West Bengal-1nos, Jharkhand-1nos, Tripura-1, Bihar-1, Assam-1.
Madhyamik pass with Mathematics, English and Science, and may have done I.T.I. or Diploma in particular trade.
5. Electrician Fitter Signal: West Bengal-2, Jharkhand-2, Tripura-2, Bihar-2 and Assam-1.
Madhyamik pass with English, Mathematics, Science and Physics may apply.
6. Radio Mechanic: West Bengal-2nos, Jharkhand-1, Tripura-1nos, Bihar-2nos.
Madhyamik pass with English, Mathematics, Science and Physics may apply.
7. Lineman Field: West Bengal-3nos, Jharkhand-1nos, Tripura-2nos, Bihar-2, Assam-1nos.
Madhyamik pass with certificate course from I.T.I. may apply for the post.
8. Armour: West Bengal-1nos, Tripura-1nos, Bihar-1nos, Assam-1nos.
Madhyamik pass with English, Mathematics, Science and Physics may apply.
For the all above mentioned posts, physical height and measurement should be—HEIGHT-170cm (162.5 for SC/ST); CHEST- (expanded/unexpanded): 85/80 (81/76 cm for SC/ST); WEIGHT- corresponding to height and measurement.
Age should be between 18yrs to 23 yrs as on 1-8-2011. Age relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and EX-serv- as per norms.
For selection of candidates there will be Physical Ability Test, Fitness Test, Written Test and Interview.
Rally for selection of candidates will be held from dated 14th September. Rally will be in Dimapur (Nagaland) and Guwahati (Assam)

Along with filled form, enclose—
- Self addressed written one registered envelope
- Demand Draft of Rs.50. draft should be made from State Bank of India in favour of—“Directorate General Assam Rifles, On SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No.7338”. No fee required for SC/ST candidates.
On the top of the application containing envelope, superscribe: “Application for Technical Trade Rally at Dimapur” / “Application for Technical Trade Rally at Guwahati”
