Assam Rifles is going to hold Recruitment Rally at Kohima (Nagaland) and Shillong (Meghalaya) from 24th June,2013 for the various posts in Technical Trades — Nursing Asst., ORA, Pharmacist, Electrician, Plumber, Uphoslter, Draftsman, Blacksmith and Etc. Total vacancies — 431 Nos. eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Information in brief is given below —

1. RECRUITMENT RALLY AT KOHIMA (NAGALAND): Total Vacancies — 232. Candidates belonging to the following States may participate in the Recruitment Rally at Kohima (Nagaland) for various Technical Trades. (Refer the Advt. for details)

Educational Qualification: —
For the posts in Sl.No.4 to 11 — Matriculation with ITI in respective Trades.
For the posts in Sl.No.01— Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi
For the post in sl.No. 02 — Matriculation and Diploma in civil engineering.
For the post in S.No. 03 — Matriculation and Diploma in the Trade preferable with 3yrs experience.
For the post in Sl.No.12 — Matriculation with English, Math and Science with Physics.
For the post in Sl.No.13 — Matriculaltion with English, Math, Science with Physics.
For the post in Sl.No.14 — Matric with ITI in the trade.
For the post in Sl.No.15 — Matriculation with English, Math & Science with Physics
For the post in Sl.No.16 — Matriculaltion with English, Math and Science and Diploma/ ITI in the trade.
For the post in Sl.No.17 — Matriculation with English, Math and Science.

Age Limits: between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 01.08.2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs and OBC—3yrs.

Physical Standards:
170 cms (Height), 80-85 cms (Chest) & Weight according to height and age. Cut-off in Height and Weight for Hill area candidates  and ST candidates  is as per norms.

Selection of the candidates  will be through Physical Efficiency Test and Written Test (Refer the Advt. for details. Advt. link is given below)

Application fee: Rs.50/- only through SBI Challan through Power Jyoti Account No, 32611562834 at SBI, Laitkor Branch, Shillong, Code No – 13883.

Fee paid by SBI Challan will be submitted alongwith the application. SC/ST and Ex-serviceman  candidates  are exempted from Application fee.
