Govt. of Assam – Secondary Education Department, is inviting online application for Special Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) of Secondary School. The TET Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of September, 2014. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their application through online mode. SPECIAL TEACHERS ELIGIBILITY TEST (TET)
ELIGIBILITY: Contractual Teachers who are engaged in the Secondary Education Department under the scheme “Strengthening and Improvement of the Quality Secondary Education in the State, are eligible to apply. Candidates must have B.T/ B.Ed Degree.
Age Limit: Maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2014.
Candidates who will qualify this Special TET will be awarded a certificate. The validity of the certificate shall be for a maximum period of 2(two) years from the date of issue of the certificate.
The examination shall be for 200 marks of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each one of them carrying equal marks. The subject will be on – (i) General Studies and Current Affairs and (ii) Pedagogy & General English. See the PDF file below for more details.
Application Fee: Rs.400/- by means of fee payment challan, through any branch of State Bank of India.

After submitting Online Application Form, candidates shall printout of online SBI Bank Challan & deposit Rs.400 at any branch of State bank of India from Second Working Day onwards, from the day of submission of online application form.
