Secondary Education Department, Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan (RMSA), Assam, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for posts of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Graduate Teacher in Secondary Schools. SECONDARY EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, RASHTRIYA MADHYAMIK SIKSHA ABHIJAN (RMSA) ASSAM INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR POSTS OF TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (TET) FOR GRADUATE TEACHER IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS. LAST DATE — 31/08/2016

 

TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (TET) FOR GRADUATE TEACHER IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Educational Qualification:

i) Graduate Teacher: BA / B.Sc / B.Com with 50% marks with B.T / B.Ed. degree.

ii) Hindi Teacher: Pravin / Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks having degree qualification OR B.A with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T /B.Ed. degree.

iii) Classical Teacher (Sanskrit): Shastri with 50% marks having degree qualification OR B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T/B.Ed degree.

iv) Classical Teacher such as Arabic, Urdu, Persian etc: MM with 50% marks with degree qualification OR B.A with Arabic as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T. / B.Ed.

v) Classical Teacher (Assamese Language, Manipuri Language): B.A with Honours / Major in Concerned subject with 50% marks and B.T. /B.Ed. degree.

Note:
i) B.T /B.Ed Degree from recognized university is a mandatory prerequisite eligibility qualification.
ii) Only Candidates having Bodo, Bengali, Hindi and Assamese as MIL in HALC examination are allowed to apply in TET examination. Candidates who have studied in Assamese, Bengali or Bodo medium schools, then MIL in these subjects in not mandatory. Further for Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao candidates having alternative English are also allowed to apply in TET examination.
iii) Degree qualification means a Bachelor Degree, no equivalence will be drawn.
iv) Degree served from off Campus Centre shall not be accepted
v) Candidates must be a citizen of India and must be a resident of Assam

 

Age Limit:Maximum-43 years as on 01.01.2016

 

Consolidated Pay: per month.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST category

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be though Written Examination/TET and Interview.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Secondary Education Department, Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan, Assam.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Secondary Education Department, Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan, Assam. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Secondary Education Department, Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan, Assam — www.rmsaassam.in (See link to Application form given below) from dated 16/08/2016 to 31/08/2016.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
