ASSISTANT AGRICULTURAL OFFICER

Educational Qualification:
i) Must have passed Higher Secondary (+2) Examination.
ii) Must possess two years Diploma in Agriculture from recognized Institution/ University.
iii) Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.20600-65500/-
The vacancies are in the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Subordinate Service. The candidats will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms. No maximum age limit for SC/ SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM and Destitute Widows. No maximum age limit means candidates should not have completed 58 years of age.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Certificate Verification. The Written Examination will be held on 07/04/2019. The examination will be held at the following centres:- Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichirappalli, Tirunelveli, Salem and Thanjavur. The Certificate Verification will he held tentatively in the month of July 2019.
