Under Central Government’s Ministry of Agriculture—Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board is recruiting 258 persons for the post of Assistant. Posting will be at I.C.A.R Head Quarters and at various branches of Research Institutes.
Eligibility: Graduate Boys/Girls, in any stream, may apply.
Age: candidates should be between 20 to 27 yrs as on 1-7-2011. SC/ST and OBC candidates will receive age relaxation as per rules and norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800. Grade pay: Rs.4600 (I.C.A.R. Head quarters) and Rs.4200 (for Research Institutes)
Vacant Posts: 258 nos.
Selection of candidates will be through Written Test. First there will be Preliminary Exam which will be online computer based test and may hold on dated—11 July 2011. Exam will be held on All over India around 100 centres. On this exam there will be 200 Objectives Types Questions. Time allotted- 2 hours.
In total four sections, each section consists of 50 marks. After this there will be Main Exam. In this exam there will be descriptive type’s questions of 200 marks of 3 hours. This exam may hold on the month of August.
Application may be submitted either Online or Offline. For online option, candidates should deposit amount of Rs.1000 and for Offline option—Rs.1500
if applied online, fee should be deposited through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net banking.
If applied Offline then fee may be deposited through bank challan from branch of I.C.I.C.I. Bank.
Last date: For Online or Offline, the last date is 15th June 2011.
