INDIAN COAST GUARD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 25 ASSISTANT COMMANDANT GENERAL DUTY. LAST DATE — 15/02/2020
ASSISTANT COMMANDANTÂ GENERAL DUTY
No. of Vacancies: 25 Nos. (SC-13, ST-12)
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s degree of recognised University with minimum 55% marks in aggregate (ie.1st Semester to 8th Semester for BE/ B.Tech or 1st year to last year for Bachelor Degree Candidates wherever applicable).
ii) Minimum 55% marks in Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education (Candidates not in possession of Physics and Maths in 10+2 (Intermediate) level are not eligible for General Duty).
Age Limit: Born between 01/07/1990 to 30/06/1999.
Basic Pay: Rs.56100 per month initially.
Only Male candidates belonging to SC & ST category are eligible to apply. The vacancies are against Special Recruitment Drive (SRD) for SC/ ST- 02/ 2020 Batch.
Note:-
i) Candidates withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any other service training academy are not eligible to appear.
ii) Candidates should not have been arrested, convicted or prosecuted on criminal charges.
iii) Only candidates who have cleared their final year/ final semester exams and completed their degrees are eligible to apply.
The training at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala is scheduled to commence in end of June, 2020.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Selection Examination (Mental Ability Test/ Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP & DT)) and Final Selection. The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality Test). The Preliminary Selection will be conducted tentatively from 1st week of March, 2020 various centres (for details please see the Official Advt.).
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Indian Coast Guard — www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO INDIAN COAST GUARD AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
