ASSISTANT COURT SECRETARY
No. of Vacancies: 27 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) SSLC Examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or its equivalent examination.
OR
Diploma in Commercial Practice/ Secretarial Practice in English or any other equivalent examination.
ii) Preference will be given to those candidates who are graduates.
iii) Senior Grade Examination in English Shorthand in first class.
OR
Proficiency Grade Examination in English Shorthand.
iv) Senior Grade Examination in Typewriting in English conducted by the Department of Public Instruction of the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or equivalent qualification.
v) Must have knowledge of Computers. The candidate should have a certificate in computer basics issued by an Institute imparting computer education.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and below 35 years as on 04/03/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.44900 — Rs.142400
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ Cat-I, 03 years for Cat II-A/ II-B/ III-A/ III-B of OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates will be appointed by Direct Recruitment.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of Two years or for extended period if necessary.
The candidates appointed to the post of Assistant Court Secretary are liable to be posted at High Court of Karnataka Principal Bench at Bengaluru or Benches at Dharwad and Kalaburagi.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Shorthand Test, Typing Test and Viva-Voce.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ ST/ Cat-I/ PWD candidates). Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen.
