1. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Educational Qualification: A Post Graduate Degree in Home Science or Psychology or Sociology or Child Development or Food and Nutrition or Social Work or Rehabilitation Science.
Age Limit: Should not have completed 30 years as on 01.07.2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.56100-177500/-
2. CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 89 Nos.
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Nutrition or Home Science or A degree with a PG Diploma in Rural Services awarded by the Gandhigram University.
Age Limit: Should not have completed 30 years as on 01.07.2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.36900-116600/-
Note:- Only Female candidates are eligible to apply for the above said posts.
The vacancies are in the Department of Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme in Tamil Nadu General Service for the year 2018-2019. The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD category. No maximum age limit (i.e candidates should not have completed 58 years) for SC/ SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM and Destitute Widows of all categories.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Oral Test (Interview). The Written Examination will be held on 16/11/2019 & 17/11/2019 at the following centres- Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Salem and Tiruchirapalli. Certificate Verification and Oral Test will be held in the month of January, 2019 & February, 2019 respectively.
