1. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-01, SC-01, OBC(A)-01)
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Civil of a recognized University or its equivalent.
Desirable: i) One year’s post graduate practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience.
ii) Passing the examination of “O” level in Computer Application.
Age Limit: Maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2019.

2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)

Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the State Council for Engineering & Technical Education or its equivalent.
Desirable: One year’s practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience in Municipal Engineering Work.
Age Limit: Maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000 — Rs.40500
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST and OBC category candidates of West Bengal as per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are against Recruitment Examination, 2019 for different category of posts under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
Note:- Candidates having higher qualification may also apply for Sub-Assistant Engineer posts.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal will be treated as General Candidates.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.220/- for UR & OBC candidates and Rs.70/- for SC/ ST candidates. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of West Bengal Municipal Service Commission (WBMSC) — www.mscwb.org (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 02/12/2019 to 31/12/2019.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO WEST BENGAL MUNICIPAL SERVICE COMMISSION (WBMSC) AT THIS STAGE.
