ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering.
ii) Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.36400 — Rs.115700
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD (General) category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms. No maximum age limit (Age should not have completed 59 years as on 01/07/2020) for applicants who belong to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/ DC, BC(OBCM) and BCM categories.
The vacancies are under TAHDCO Engineering Service on Direct Recruitment basis. The selected candidates will be placed on Training.
Reserved category candidates from states other than Tamil Nadu will be treated as General candidate.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be done through Online Examination and Oral Test. The Online Examination will be conducted at the following centers- Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem and Trichy.
