1. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)

i) Electrical and Electronics Engineering- 364 posts
ii) Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering- 28 posts
iii) Computer Science/ Information Technology Engineering- 08 posts
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor degree in EEE/ ECE/ EIE/ CSE/ IT Engineering.
OR
A pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Electrical Engineering Branch OR Equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2019.

2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)

Educational Qualification: A degree in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial/ Manufacturing Engineering.
OR
A pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Mechanical Engineering Branch OR Equivalent.

3. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Educational Qualification: A Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
OR
A pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Civil Engineering Branch OR Equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.39800 — Rs.126500
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ Destitute Widow, 02 years for MBC/ DC, BCO, BCM and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.

The selected candidates will be on Training for a period of three (03) months. After the successful completion of training, the candidates will be placed on Probation for two (02) years.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than the State of Tamil Nadu will be treated as General Category candidates.
