Educational Qualification:
(i) Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree (including candidates who have joined the course through lateral entry) in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined) /Power Engineering /B.Sc (H) in Physics with 3 years’ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs.
(ii)Assistant Engineer (Civil) – BE/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.) Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs.
The candidates who have appeared or going to appear in the final examination to acquire the requisite academic Degree or Professional qualification (as prescribed above) are also allowed to apply for the recruitment, provided that such candidates must produce their final pass certificate/marksheet of the qualifying examination, as per eligibility criteria, on the date of interview failing which their candidature will stand cancelled without any further reference.
Age Limit: 18yrs – 27yrs as on 01/01/2019. Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100
Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected on basis of GATE-2020 scores. Score from GATE-2019 or from any previous GATE examination will not be valid for this recruitment.
