1. ASSISTANT ENGINEER
No. of Vacancies: 78 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
ii) Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ M.Tech. Environmental Science and Technology awarded by Anna University/ M.Tech. Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals awarded by Anna University/ M.E. Environmental Management awarded by Anna University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (35 years for SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ MBC/ DNC/ BC/ BCM) as on 12/02/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.37700 — Rs.119500
2. ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
No. of Vacancies: 70 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Science in any one of the following discipline:-
i) Chemistry
ii) Biology
iii) Zoology
iv) Environmental Chemistry
v) Environmental Science
vi) Environmental Toxicology
vii) Microbiology
viii) Marine Biology
ix) Bio-Chemistry
x) Analytical Chemistry
xi) Applied Chemistry
xii) Botany.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (35 years for SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ MBC/ DNC/ BC/ BCM) as on 12/02/2020.

3. ASSISTANT (JUNIOR ASSISTANT)
No. of Vacancies: 38 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) A pass in Bachelor’s Degree.
ii) Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Course for a period of minimum six (06) months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (35 years for SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ MBC/ DNC/ BC/ BCM) as on 12/02/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.19500 — Rs.62000
4. TYPIST
No. of Vacancies: 56 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) A pass in Bachelor’s Degree.
ii) A pass in the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting Higher Grade in English and Tamil.
iii) Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Course for a period of minimum six (06) months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (35 years for SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ MBC/ DNC/ BC/ BCM) as on 12/02/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.19500 — Rs.62000
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC, SC(A), ST, PWD and Destitute Widows). Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO TAMILNADU POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD AT THIS STAGE.
