ASSISTANT ENGINEER TRAINEE
Number of Vacancies: 336 Nos.
Distribution of vacancies as per Engineering Branch wise —
— Electrical: 240 Nos.
— Electronics: 33 Nos.
— Computer Science Engg./ Information Technology: 48 Nos.
— Civil Engg.: 15 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any one of the branch, viz.— Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology and Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST candidates)
Candidates must have proper knowledge of Hindi language if the candidates has not passed High School or equivalent in Hindi Medium.
Candidates having degree through distance education mode are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 and maximum 35 years as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600—39100 with Grade Pay: Rs.5400/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Computer based Test and Interview which will conducted at the following citites — Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad and Meerut.

Application Fee: Rs.1000/- for General and OBC candidates whereas Rs.700/- for SC/ST candidates of UP State. No Application Fee for Handicap categories.
Candidates other than UP State may apply as General candidates and must pay Application Fee in full.
