ASSISTANT ENGINEER TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 42 Nos. (UR-24, OBC-10, SC-06, ST-02)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrical: 30 posts
ii) Electronics: 05 posts
iii) Civil: 07 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in respective discipline from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA (Pass marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates). For more details please see the Official Advt.
ii) Should have valid score in GATE 2018.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 31/12/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs. 50,000 – 1, 60,000/-
The selected candidates will undergo Training for a period of one year. The candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 40,000/- during the training period.
Only GATE 2018 score is valid for the above post. GATE score of 2017 or prior or GATE 2019 is not valid.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in GATE- 2018, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
