West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd (A Govt. of West Bengal Enterprise) is Recruiting 130 Assistant Engineers and Managers.

4. Assistant Manager (HR & A) (post code: 04)

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and MBA (2yrs full time course)/MPM (2 yrs full time course)/MHRM (2yrs full time course) with major specialization in Personnel Management/HR or Post-Graduate full time Degree/Diploma (2 yrs course) with specialization in Personnel Management/HR from a recognized University/reputed Institute approved by AICTE/IIMs/XLRI/IITB schools.
5. Assistant Manager (F & A) (post code: 05)
Name of Post: 18 (Gen-8, SC-5, ST-1, OBC-cat A-1, OBC-cat B-2, PH-1)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and passed Final Examination from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India or MBA (2yrs full time) with specialization in Finance from a recognized University/reputed Institute duly approved by AICTE/IIMs/XLRI/IITB Schools with specialization in Finance from a recognized University.
For all the Posts Degree from Open University/ Private University/Distance Learning mode/Part Time/Sandwich Course shall not be considered
Extra Knowledge: Candidates must have adequate knowledge for communicating in Bengali/Nepali language.
Age Limit for All Posts: 27 yrs as on 1.1.2010. Age is relaxable by 5yrs for SC/ST candidates and 3yrs for OBC candidates of WB State only.
Reservation of the post shall be made for reserved category candidates of State of West Bengal as er the guidelines issued by the Govt. of West Bengal time to time. SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates from the states other than West Bengal have to apply as General Candidate.
Pay scale for all the above posts: 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400.+ other allowances as per rules.
Mode of selection:
Selection to all posts will be made on the basis of performance at written test ad interview. Candidates called for written test/interview shall not be entitled to reimbursement of travelling expenses. The written Test and Interview will be held on 9.1.2011
Processing and Exam fee: Rs 400 (Non-refundable). No fee for SC/ST candidates from the state of West Bengal.
How to pay: Fee is to be paid by Crossed Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of “West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd”. Payable at Kolkata only.
Written Examination:
There will be 2 types of question papers as follows:
(i) Multiple Choice Question with 4 options including single correct answer carrying 120 Marks. Time allowed: 30 Minutes
(ii) Descriptive Type Question carrying 30 marks. Time allowed:30 minutes.
How to Apply:
Submit of application form can be done Online only by visiting the official website of WBSETCL. After visiting the website click the link named- Online Application Form, to fill up the form. Before fill-upping the form read the details carefully.
After successfully submitting the application, candidate should have to print out the system generated registration slip by clicking “Print Registration Slip”
Affix self-attested passport size photograph in proper place of the registration form and send it through ordinary post along with D.D and other documents of your.
How and where to Send: Along with original registration slip (Photocopy will not be approved), attach the original DD and attested copies of Caste/PH Certificate (as applicable), testimonial and age proof by Gazetted officer and sent the same by ordinary post at the following address:

Last Date to Apply: Your Registration Slip should reach within 11.12.2010 at the above mentioned address.
Important Notes to Candidates:
- Mention valid email ID of your own during filling up the Online form
- E-Mail will be send to all eligible candidates only by dated 24.12.2010. On receipt of the e-mail, candidate will have to once again login to official website and click the link: Print the Admit Card”.
- After printing the Admit card, past recent size passport photograph with self-attested and carry the Admit Card to the examination center on the date and time indicated therein. Please note- the photograph on your registration slip and admit card should be same.
- Candidates should not try to retain/copy the Application Form as well as the Registration Slip on computer as they can reprint the registration slip till the offer is open upto dated- 8.12.2010
