ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 210 Nos. (UR-105, SEBC-24, SC-34, ST-47. Out of the total posts, 02 posts are reserved for Sports Person and 08 posts are reserved for PWD)
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Engineering (Civil) from any recognized University or Institution or must be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India.
ii) The candidate must have knowledge in Odia. He/ she must be able to read, write and speak in Odia and must have:-
(a) Passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a Language subject; or
(b) Passed Matriculation or equivalent Examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject; or
(c) Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above from a School or Education Institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government; or
(d) Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department/ Board of Secobdary Education, Odisha.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 — Rs.39100
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are in Group- ‘A’ of Odisha Panchayati Raj Engineering Service under the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for two (02) years.
Note:- Reserved category candidates of state other than Odisha will be treated as General category candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination (Preliminary and Main Examination) and Viva Voce Test. The written examination will be held at Cuttack. It may also be held at Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Berhampur and Sambalpur depending on the number of candidates.
