1. FABRICATION ASSISTANTS
No. of Vacancies: 53 Nos.
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Welder- 47 posts
ii) Sheet Metal Worker- 06 posts
Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade.
Experience: Minimum three years of post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 13/02/2019.

4. SCAFFOLDER

Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC and ITI (NTC) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker/ Fitter Pipe (Plumber)/ Fitter with one or two years experience/ training in handling scaffolding work in a Shipyard or Engineering Company.
OR
Pass in SSLC with a minimum of three years experience/ training in handling scaffolding work in a Shipyard or Engineering Company.

5. FIREMAN
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Pass in SSLC.
ii) (a) Minimum four to six months training in Fire Fighting from a State Fire Force or Public Sector Undertaking or a Government recognised course from a reputed Institute.
OR
(b) Certificate in Nuclear Biological Chemical Defence and Damage Control (NBCD), including fire fighting onboard ships from Armed Forces/ recognised Institutions.
Experience: Minimum one year experience.
Desirable: Knowledge in Malayalam.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 13/02/2019.

6. SAFETY ASSISTANT

Educational Qualification: i) Pass in SSLC.
ii) One year Diploma/ Certificate in Industrial Safety from a recognized Institute or Public Sector Undertaking.
Experience: Minimum one year training or experience in safety in a Public Sector Undertaking or a Factory.

7. SERANG

Educational Qualification: VII standard pass and valid Serang/ Lascar cum Serang Certificate.
Experience: Minimum one year experience as Serang of a Motor Boat.

8. SHIP DESIGN ASSISTANTS

Discipline wise vacancies:

Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC and three year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation disciplines with 60% marks (55% marks or above for SC/ST/PWD candidates) or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Two years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 13/02/2019.

9. JUNIOR SAFETY
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Three year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical) with 60% marks (with 55% marks or above for SC/ST/PWD candidates) with Post Diploma in Industrial Safety approved by Factories & Boilers department.
Experience: Minimum 04 years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 13/02/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.19200/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a maximum period of three (03) years subject to project requirements and performance of the candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Test and Practical/ Skill/ Physical Test wherever applicable. The Online test will be held at various centres in Kochi/ Kerala.
