Central Board of Secondary Education is recruiting 140 Nos. boys and girls for the post of “Junior Assistant” and “Assistant”. Higher Secondary and Graduate candidates may apply for the posts. Details given below—
Junior Assistant: 120 Nos. (Gen-59, OBC-26, SC-18, ST-10, PH-2, Ex-Serv.-5)

Qualification: Higher Secondary pass boys and girls in any discipline with ability to Type30 words per minute in English on Manual Typewriter and 35 words per minute in English on Computer may apply for the post.
Candidates should be within 18yrs to 27yrs of age. Salary per month: Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 and Grade pay of Rs.1900.
Assistant: 20 Nos. (Gen-11, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1)
Serial No.22
Qualification: Graduate done boys and girls in any stream with ability to type 30 words per minute on Computer in English or ability to make 9000 key depression per hour on Computer may apply for the post.
Candidates should have proper knowledge in Windows, M.S. Office, Fox pro/ Fox base, UNIX and Internet.
Working experience of 3yrs in such field at any govt. or non-govt. institutions is desirable.
Age should be within 18yrs to 27 yrs. Pay scale per month- Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade pay- Rs.2400
Candidates’ selection: Candidates will be selected through Written Test, Computer Test and then Interview. Written Test will be on following topics—(I) General English, (II) General Knowledge and (III) Mathematics.
The date and venue of examination will be informed to the candidates through call letter.
How to Apply: Submit application through Online system from the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education—http://www.cbse.nic.in
Candidates should have their own valid email id and should prepare Demand Draft of Rs.50 before applying online for the post. Demand Draft should be in favour of—“Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education” and write payable at—“Delhi”.
No fee required for SC/ST and PH candidates. On the back of D.D. write your full name, father’s name and Control No.
After preparing the D.D., visit the official site of CBSE and fill the application form. After filling the application form accurately click the ‘save’ button. Now computer generated application form will appear with unique control number. Make print-out copy of this generated application form.
The generated application form along with the following documents should be sent to the below mentioned address by post. Enclose the following documents—
- Attested copy of Madhyamik Admit card
- Educational Certificate, Training Certificate or semester wise attested copies of documents.
- Attested copies of Caste certificate / PH Certificate, for SC/ST and OBC or PH candidates
- Original Demand Draft of Rs.50
- Recent one passport size photograph pasted on the application form
On the top of the envelope super scribe—“Application for Post of ……………..”
Last Date: Online application can be made by last 26th December-2011. Computer generated application can be send by Speed post or Registry Post at the following address—“The Joint Secretary (A&L), Shiksha Kendra, CBSE, 2 Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi- 110 092”.
