Sikkim Public Service Commission, Gangtok, is inviting Application Form for recruitment of 69 posts of – Assistant Engineers in discipline of Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Agricultural and Junior Engineer (Civil). Degree or Diploma in Engineering done candidates may apply for the posts. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application Form. eligibility norms and criteria in brief is given below—
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 33 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering and 3yrs of field experience in Civil Engineering works.
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 4 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering and 3yrs of field experience in Electrical Engineering works
3. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 2 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3yrs of field experience in Mechanical Engineering works
4. Assistant Engineer (Agriculture): 2 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Agriculture Engineering from recognised College/ University.
5. Junior Engineer (Civil): 28 Nos.
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering (LCE) from recognised Institutions or equivalent.
N.B: Candidates must have valid employment card. Knowledge in customs of Sikkim and local language is required.
Computer knowledge is desirable.
Age Limits: Within 30yrs as on 01/09/2012. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.

Application fee: Rs.150/- through Bank deposit in any branch of State Bank of Sikkim, credited to “0051—SPSC”.
The application form should be accompanied with attested copies of — (1) Class X Mark sheets/Certificate containing Date of Birth. (2) Degree Mark Sheet/ Degree Certificate (3) Valid Local Employment Card (4) Valid Certificate of Identification/Sikkim Subject Certificate (5) Experience Certificate 6) No Objection Certificate for employed candidates and Etc.
Last Date of Application: Complete Application Form along with enclosures should reach on or before 10th October 2012 (3 PM) by post at the following Address— “The Secretary, Sikkim Public Service Commission, Old West Point School Complex, Near Police Headquarter, Gangtok”.
