ASSISTANT LAW OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (UR-02, SEBC-01, ST-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Must have completed Graduation in Law from a recognized University along with practice in Bar as an Advocate at least for a period of 03 years.
OR
Have completed Graduation in Law from a recognized University along with experience of at least 12 years. For details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs.4,200/-
Other Eligibility Condition:
The candidate should be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have passed at least an examination in Odia language equivalent to that of Middle English School standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha; or the Education Department of Govt. of Odisha or any other Board or Council of Secondary Education approved by the Govt. of Odisha in support of passing of Odia Language Test (M.E. School Standard).

Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Odisha will be treated as General Category candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-servicemen and 10 years for PWD category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Viva Voce Test. The Written Examination will be held at Cuttack.
