CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 09 LIBRARIAN, DEPUTY LIBRARIAN, ASSISTANT REGISTRAR, PRIVATE SECRETARY, PERSONAL ASSISTANT, TECHNICAL ASSISTANT, LABORATORY ASSISTANT AND LIBRARY ASSISTANT. LAST DATE — 17/05/2020
1. LIBRARIAN
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) A Master‘s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
ii) Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
iii) A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation/ Archives and Manuscript-keeping.
Experience: At least 10 years experience.
2. DEPUTY LIBRARIAN
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
ii) Evidence of Innovative library services including integration of ICT in library.
iii) A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science/ Archives and Manuscript Keeping/ Computerization of Library.
Experience: Eight years’ experience.
3. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 17/05/2020.
4. PRIVATE SECRETARY
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: i) A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/ Institute.
ii) Stenography speed of 80 wpm in English or 60 wpm in Hindi.
iii) Typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
iv) Knowledge of computer applications.
Experience: At least 03 years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 17/05/2020.
5. PERSONAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognised Institute/ University.
ii) English/ Hindi Stenography speed of 60 wpm in English/ Hindi.
iii) Proficiency in Typing in English or Hindi with minimum speed of 35/ 30 wpm respectively.
iv) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Experience: Two years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 17/05/2020.
6. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

Educational Qualification: Graduation in relevant subject/ discipline from any recognized Institution/ University with at least 50% marks.
Experience: At least 02 years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 17/05/2020.
7. LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Educational Qualification: Bachelors’ Degree in Science or any other degree in the relevant field from a recognized Institute/ University OR Three year diploma in relevant field.
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on 17/05/2020.
8. LIBRARY ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
ii) Typing speed of 30 wpm in English.
iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 17/05/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
